Join Us On Our Mission as We Celebrate 10 Years!

As leaders in our community, John and Michelle Stewart, our founders, have always had a heart to help develop youth to become strong leaders for future generations.
In 2014, Yorkville Christian School opened its doors in a temporary facility.
Four years later in 2018, through God’s guidance and blessings, a new school facility was built ready to energize, educate, and impact students to carry out God’s plan for their lives in His Kingdom. And now, 10 years later in 2024, we have added a middle school (6th-8th grades), a computer lab, more classes in each department, more clubs and expanded our athletic programming, too! And more is planned…
Through support from our founders, parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, Yorkville Christian School continues its mission of providing Christ-centered learning to future leaders.
Your continued support is needed to keep us growing and thriving!

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver!” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Ways to Give Now

Goal for 2023/24: $250,000

The Annual Fund is the backbone of our fundraising efforts. These gifts support some of our highest priorities. Here are a few examples of how these gifts are used:

Tuition Assistance

This program provides much needed funding to keep YCS education accessible to our families as the current tuition does not meet the actual cost per student each year. Many families rely on this assistance in order to send their student to YCS.

Investing in Students & Investing in Faculty

Yorkville Christian School employs exceptional, committed teachers. To ensure our faculty can fully invest in their students, we support them through competitive wages, benefits and professional development. We have added faculty that offer student support service, with growth in mind over the next several years.

Facility Updates and Improvements

To stay updated with our ever-changing world, YCS must keep our technology systems and facility updated. These costs can be, and are often, surprising for educational institutions.

Please contact Mrs. Connie Brott (cbrott@yorkvillechristian.com ) for more information about giving to the Annual Fund.

Memorial gifts acknowledge the memory of a friend or loved one that has passed, and honorary gifts celebrate special occasions like noteworthy birthdays and anniversaries, and milestone events.

Please contact Mrs. Connie Brott (cbrott@yorkvillechristian.com) for more information about either of these gifts.

Ways to Give In The Future

Planned gifts offer you creative ways to support Yorkville Christian School while benefiting your family’s future as well. By understanding the available options, you can multiply the end results of your generosity in ways that are simple, flexible, cost-effective and extraordinarily powerful.

Gifts in a Will

By including charitable giving in your will, you model to your loved ones a legacy of generosity. You also help ensure YCS continues to make a difference well beyond your lifetime.

Non-Cash Assets

You may be able to increase your potential impact and experience significant tax benefits by giving non-cash assets.

Examples of non-cash assets

  • Stock or marketable securities
  • Real estate
  • Business interests
  • Farm commodities
  • IRA charitable rollover (for donors ages 70 ½ and older)
